Pruex started with one clear aim: create healthier livestock environments so animals stay well, perform better, and farms can rely on prudent rather than excessive antibiotic use. We do that by improving the microbial balance in housing, water and bedding.
What we’ve since learned is that the same biology doesn’t stop at the shed door.
The beneficial bacteria we apply are not wasted. They develop in the muck, slurry and litter, travel with it to the land, help condition the soil, and support plants to make better use of the farm’s own nutrients — especially nitrogen, phosphorus and trace minerals.
Farmers may not get excited by hearing “reduced nitrogen losses” or “improved phosphorus cycling.” What they do understand is more grass, more sugar, more digestible protein, healthier animals and less bought-in feed.
So our message is simple:
Pruex helps animals stay healthy in the shed, then helps turn manure nutrients into higher-value forage in the field.
That means:
- healthier livestock environments
- prudent antibiotic use
- better slurry value
- improved soil function
- more home-grown feed protein and energy
- less waste, less pollution, better margins
In short:
We use biology to protect the animal first — then recycle that same biology through the soil to grow better feed.
